Who you are buying from

Summer Ray Fine Art is the studio of artist Summer Ray, based at 8815 Mica Creek, Ball Ground, Georgia 30107, United States. When you buy through this website, you are buying directly from the artist.

Products and accuracy

Every original is one of a kind and photographed as faithfully as possible, but screens vary and oil paint has depth a camera cannot fully capture. Small differences between photographs and the physical work are part of owning original art. Listed sizes are canvas or board dimensions; framed dimensions may be larger. If a listing error occurs, such as an incorrect price, the studio will contact you before proceeding with the order.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Card and PayPal payments are processed through Shopify's secure checkout; the studio never sees or stores your card details. Commission work is quoted individually and may require a deposit before painting begins. Prices for originals may change as an artist's market develops, but the price you check out at is the price you pay.

Copyright and reproduction

Summer Ray retains full copyright in every artwork, including sold originals and commissions. Buying a painting or print gives you the physical piece, not the right to reproduce it commercially. The studio may continue to offer prints of paintings after the original sells, and may photograph commissioned work for the portfolio unless you request otherwise. Personal photos of your art at home, happily shared on social media, are always welcome.

Commissions

Commission scope, size, price and timeline are agreed in writing (email counts) before work begins. Reasonable revisions are part of the process; a change in subject or size after painting has begun may be quoted as new work. Deposits on commissions become non refundable once painting is underway.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio's liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold as a consumer under applicable law.
