Shipping & returns
Short version: your art ships in 7 to 10 working days, insured and packed by the artist herself, and if something goes wrong Summer will make it right.
How your art ships
Every painting and print is packed in the studio by Summer, with corner protection, moisture wrap and rigid backing. Original oil paintings ship only after the paint has fully cured, which is why fresh pieces sometimes need a few extra days before they can travel safely.
Orders ship to your door within 7 to 10 working days. Prints ship for $5 standard or $9 priority within the United States. Shipping for originals is quoted by size and destination, and framed or oversized works may ship freight with full insurance. You will receive tracking as soon as your piece is on its way.
Delivery times
The 7 to 10 working day window covers preparation and transit for in stock work. Commissions follow their own timeline, agreed with you before the painting begins, plus the same shipping window once finished. If you need a piece by a specific date, mention it when you order and Summer will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
International orders
Shipping outside the United States is possible for most prints and many originals. Contact the studio before ordering so duties, insurance and transit can be quoted accurately for your country.
If something arrives damaged
Open your package promptly and photograph any damage to the box and the piece. Email the photos to summerrays7@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery and the studio will arrange a repair, replacement print or insurance claim. Damaged shipments are rare, but when they happen they are handled quickly and personally.
Returns and exchanges
Art is personal, and Summer wants yours to feel right on the wall. If a print is not what you hoped, contact the studio within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return or exchange; prints must come back in their original condition and packaging. Original paintings are returnable by arrangement, given their one of a kind nature, so please reach out before shipping anything back. Commissioned works are made for you and are not returnable, which is why the commission process includes approval before shipping.
Payment
Checkout is handled securely through Shopify and accepts major credit and debit cards along with PayPal. For commissions and special orders, the studio can arrange payment directly.
